Coca-Cola Santa Claus John Moore dies aged 86

                            

Coca-Cola has paid tribute to John Moore – the inspiration for the company’s iconic Christmas ads –
who has died aged 86.

Mr Moore, from West Sussex, is famous for his role as Santa Claus in the seasonal adverts and also for appearing in festive Morrisons commercials.

Coca-Cola bosses have paid tribute to Mr Moore.
A spokeswoman said: "We are saddened to hear of the passing of John and our thoughts are with his family and the community.

“He really did bring to life the true spirit of the iconic Coca-Cola Santa Claus.”
A funeral service for Mr Moore will be held at St Edward’s church in Royal George Road, Burgess Hill, West Sussex, at 10.45am tomorrow.
