Daughter Of Late Dora Akunyili, Njideka Akunyili Crosby Makes Nigeria Proud; Wins American Art Prize

Many congrats to the Daughter of late Mrs. Dora Akunyili; Njideka Akunyili Crosby  as she has  proudly won the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s 2014 James Dicke PrizeThe 32-year-old mixed-media artist is the 11th winner of the award carting away a cash prize of $25,000  which is about N4,442,493.70.  The award recognizes artists below 50  years of age who have produced a significant body of work and consistently demonstrated exceptional creativity.
