Rear Admiral Biekro made this known at this year’s Administrative Inspection parade by the Western Naval Command in Sekondi on Friday.
The event was aimed at assessing the operational readiness and performance of the Command, as well as to take stock of its challenges and plan the way forward.
Rear Admiral Biekro reviewed the parade that comprised 188 ratings and 60 officers, who displayed matching skills and drills with dexterity, to the admiration of the civilian population that thronged the Sekondi Naval Base to witness the biennial ceremony.
He advised the officers who had just retired from the Service to exercise extreme caution when investing their monies in any venture to avoid being defrauded or short changed.
He urged the retirees to seek sound financial advice from financial experts so as to safeguard their investments.
