Prison inmates build a chair as gift for Pope Francis

Some inmates of Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility on the outskirts of Philadelphia built a chair for Pope Francis as a gift.

He met with 100 inmates of the facility on September 27 before the final Mass.

It is the first time a Pope has visited a US prison and would forever be remebered.

The inmates all gathered around to take a photo of the chair they had made as a token of their appreciation to Pope Francis.

This is also another first that deserves to be remembered.

They may have well paid penance for their crimes in the eyes of christianity.
